Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash in Pope County.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, on the northbound Highway 55 to eastbound Highway 28 ramp in Glenwood.
The accident report stated:
A 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Lacey May Entzi, 18, of Alexandria, and a 2004 Pontiac Montana driven by Richard Bernerd Kruize, 78 (no hometown was given), were both traveling east on Highway 28. As the Taurus turned left onto Highway 55, it was rear-ended by the Pontiac.
A third person was involved in the crash. Elaine Marguarite Jobgen, 66, of Lowry, was a passenger in Kruize's vehicle.
All three were wearing seat belts, and were transported to the Glenwood Hospital.
