Christmas in the Fort was another success, as dozens of people attended the annual event. This year, the lights were turned on by retiring city worker John Stanz. A maintenance worker for the past 37 years, Stanz is set to retire this Friday, Dec. 6.
During Christmas in the Fort, Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to visit with the children. Other activities included music, treats, a petting zoo and the annual Parade of Trees.
