Drivers going either direction on Interstate 94 between County Road 159/St. John's Road near Collegeville, and Highway 27/County Road 3 near Osakis, will encounter intermittent delays starting this week.
Segments along the 45-mile stretch of the interstate will be reduced to a single lane beginning today, Tuesday, April 30, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closure will occur Mondays through Fridays, from sunrise to sunset, and will be complete in mid-May.
The closures are needed while crews repair gravel shoulders along the interstate.
Transportation officials advise drivers approaching the work zone to slow down, be prepared to stop, and move over to give crews room to safely complete their work.
