The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 40-year-old Perham man, who is one of the owners of the Automaxx used car dealership in Alexandria.

Authorities say Scott Patrick Robertson was found unresponsive near a dock on Little Pine Lake about two miles north of Perham at about 7 p.m., Friday, June 12.

Officials suspect that Robertson drowned, but the exact cause of death isn't known at this time.

Funeral services for Robertson were held Tuesday at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Perham.

Robertson was born April 9, 1969, at St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Breckenridge through the 8th grade and was a 1987 graduate of Breckenridge High School.

He held an associate of arts degree from the North Dakota State School of Science and a bachelor of science degree in finance from Moorhead State University.

Those who knew Robertson said he had a zest for life and an intense love for his family, friends and the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, Keith and Martha Robertson; brother, Paul (Janell) Robertson; sisters, Anita (Chris) Anderson and Gail Robertson; nephews, Luke, Jason, and Eric Anderson and Michael Robertson; niece, Jessica Lom; special friend and companion, Tara Giese; and many close friends and extended family members.
