The University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) invites the public to attend its 43rd annual Horticulture Night on Thursday, July 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Horticulture Display Garden in Morris.
Demonstrations will include a fresh and healthy cooking demonstration, small space vegetable gardening, healthy soils mean healthy foods, practical tips for garden photography (suitable for all skill levels), landscape elements that attract songbirds, perennials, native pollinators and woody ornamentals.
Garden tours will include annual flowers and tropical gardens.
In addition to tours and demonstrations, several hands-on children's garden family activities will be available including a cow milking demonstration and a presentation by the Morris Area High School Robotics team.
Additional activities include trade and educational shows, food booths, music, farm tours and a demonstration of The Meat We Eat, which shows where various cuts of meat come from.

The WCROC Horticulture Gardens are used for research and education, as well as to showcase inspiring display ide-as, which gardeners can use in their own backyards.
