New Testament's 'The Gospel According to Scrooge' will wrap up their final performances at the Lake Geneva Chrisitan Center's worship center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, Saturday, Dec. 11 and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12.
Jim Schumacher of Alexandria wrote the show and also plays Mr. Fezziwig. The production is co-directed by Jim's wife, Dyann Schumacher, church secretary at New Testament, Abby Johnson, and Amanda Reishus, children's minister at New testament and Mrs. Cratchit in the show.
"It was written with a salvation message in mind and a way to reach out to people that aren't believers in Jesus," said Schumacher. "Even though it is a Christian play, it is really a lot of fun and is meant to be enjoyed. Bring your friends and family no matter where they happen to be church-wise."
The show is free and open to the public— no tickets are required for entry. More information can be found at the churches' website, www.ntcalexandria.org , or by calling 320-762-2444
