Join me in wishing my dad, Herb Meier, a happy 90th birthday! Born on May 8, 1930 on the family farm in Ponsford, MN, Herb went on to graduate from Perham High School, and was an all-star high school and college football player. Herb served our country during the Korea War in the Air Force. Herb is loving husband, father, grandfather of three, and great grandfather of five, and always lives life to the fullest. With this significant birthday we wish him much love and many more years to come.
Originally our family was planning a big birthday party where he now lives in Alexandria, MN, but that will need to wait until its safe for everyone’s health to gather. So for now let’s raise a chocolate chip cookie to Herb, and wish him many more birthdays and joyous days to come.
If you’d like to get a hold of Herb by phone or send a card with birthday wishes, reach out to his daughter, Pam Meier (formerly Perham, now in Minneapolis) or his son-in-law, Randy Johnson (formerly Perham, now in Alexandria). We’ll get you in touch with Herb!
