Kathy Koch, founder of Texas-based Celebrate Kids, Inc., will speak about our five core needs at the Unity Foundation's Faith at Work Lunch from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at the Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.
Koch frequently speaks for Care Net, Summit Ministries, the Colson Center, and Teach Them Diligently. She is also a popular guest on Focus on the Family radio. She was featured in Kirk Cameron’s film about kids and social media, "Connect," and she has published five books with Moody Publishers.
Her talk in Alexandria is called, "Five to Thrive: 5 Core Needs we all have, how we meet them for ourselves, our employees and/or customers."
"Five legitimate needs drive our wants, choices, actions and attitudes, and God meets those needs in a way that leaves us whole, emotionally well, content and successful," according to a summary of her talk. Koch will address how these needs translate to the way we do business.
Tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door. Make reservations in advance either at aug21fw.eventbrite.com or by emailing UnityFoundationAlex@gmail.com.
