For more than 35 years, David McIver has helped the PraiseLive radio station in Osakis send its signal to a growing audience.
Now the station's executive director, he will speak at the Unity Foundation's Faith @ Work Lunch from noon-1 p.m. Friday, May 21 at the Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.
His talk, "Looking for The One," will talk about lost people — the broken, the forgotten, the abused, the outcasts and the family member who wants nothing to do with Jesus. But its real focus, says the Unity Foundation, will be on you. Because as you look for Jesus, you become more like Jesus.
McIver has shepherded the ministry’s growth from one FM signal out of Osakis to several FM signals, satellite broadcasts, online streaming, domestic and international affiliates and a worldwide app. He is also a chapel leader with Baseball Chapel, serving Major League Baseball players including the Minnesota Twins.
Tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door. To keep everyone safe, limited seating is available, and those who wish to attend are asked to make advance reservations at may21fw.eventbrite.com or email UnityFoundationAlex@gmail.com.
