ALEXANDRIA — A Kenyan minister focusing on revival and racial reconciliation will lead services at Spirit Life Church in Alexandria at 6:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Sept. 23-24.

Charles Karuku will lead Revival Nights and conduct a special prophetic activation and training class at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, and serve as the guest minister at the churches 10 a.m. service Sunday, Sept. 25.

Karuku founded The Unity Movement after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and reports seeing not only racial reconciliation but also physical healing and miracles in his services.

The public is welcome. A free-will offering will be collected at each service.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
