Cartoon figures of medical staff and other community members cover the windows on the east side of Alomere Health in Alexandria. Local artists including Char Slack, Katie Bullock and Heather Rolin have been painting the figures and hope to decorate about 60 windows. (Lowell Anderson / Echo Press)
