Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County and Thrivent will join 21 local churches, Thrivent clients, and community volunteers to kick off the construction of an affordable Alexandria home with a virtual Blessing of the Build ceremony at 4 p.m. Monday, May 10
It is one of 80 such projects taking place across the country.
Habitat and Thrivent have teamed up nationally since 2005, and this year will mark the 20th Thrivent Faith Builds home in Douglas County.
The ceremony will be streamed on Habitat’s Facebook page.
