Girl Scout Troop 513, a new troop in Alexandria in 2020, has had a very successful first cookie-selling season. They had a lot of fun while learning many new leadership skills, selling just under 2300 packages of cookies among the ten members. They were also able to donate 110 packages of cookies to Alomere Hospital and Bethany on the Lake with funds raised through community donations and a Thrivent grant. Troop leaders Stephanie Schuett and Kianna Sheridan have had a great year watching the girls develop friendships and support one another.
