Four authors from rural Minnesota will speak at the Unity Foundation's Faith @ Work Lunch from noon-1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the Broadway Ballroom.

Each author wrote their book from a different perspective and for a unique purpose, and will tell the story behind the story. They will talk about why the book was written, what impact they were trying to make and what the process looked like to go from idea to a published book.

They will share the most challenging part of the process, what route they went with publishing and why, and what the most rewarding part of the process has been for them.

The authors are:

  • Jaci Loween of Alexandria, author of "Go & See. See all you have. Invest all you've been given"
  • Vern Anderson of Alexandria, author of "Threshold of Faith"
  • Amanda Davison of Fergus Falls, author of "Dear Wife"
  • Alison Schmidgall of Hancock, author of "Baby Adventurer"
