Healing the sick discussion

Brian Fenimore from Kansas City will be speaking about healing the sick on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at House of Prayer Church, 3020 Rosewood Lane, in Alexandria. The ministry is a combined effort of House of Prayer and New Testament Church.

Fenimore will also minister at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at House of Prayer, hosted by pastors Lynndene Way of House of Prayer and Pete Reishus of New Testament.

They invite all members of the faith community. A free-will offering will be taken for Fenimore's ministry. Called Plumbline Ministries, its goal is to release the compassion of the Lord into our lives, families, churches and nation. The meetings are designed to build and equip the healing ministry in every believer.

Spaghetti and meatball supper

First Congregational Church will serve a spaghetti and meatball supper on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The church will also offer a country store of antiques, collectibles and services, a bake sale of holiday favorites and carry-outs.
