Caravan du Nord is coming to Alexandria on Saturday, Sept. 11, bringing workshops for musicians, plus a chance to network and attend a concert.
Participants are able to attend any or all of the events, which will take place at Theatre L'Homme Dieu in Alexandria.
The free workshops are:
- 3-3:50 p.m., songwriting with Chris Koza
- 4-4:50 p.m., public relations and marketing for independent musicians`
An industry social hour is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m., followed by a 7:30 p.m. concert featuring Brianna Kocka, Jillian Rae, and headliner Chris Koza. The concert costs $20 for adults and $15 for students and will take place on the Theatre L'Homme Dieu outdoor stage. Attendees should bring their own chairs.
The Caravan du Nord is a traveling showcase of Minnesota music, bringing top regional acts, emerging bands and music industry professionals to towns across Greater Minnesota.
