Winter doesn’t have to be cold, dull and drab. Although not as colorful as summertime, winter in Minnesota has a subtle beauty that is there if you look for it. When you combine the light of the sun or moon with a fresh, new snow or intricate frost, you have a landscape just waiting to be captured in images.
These photos were submitted by readers for Photo of the Week and were all taken at around sunrise or sunset this past December and January.
Each week, the Echo Press publishes a reader submitted photo for Photo of the Week, which usually runs on page 2 on Fridays, and is also published on the website on Sundays. If you have a great photo that you would like to submit for Photo of the Week, send it to Lowell Anderson at email@example.com.
