Peggy Weise and Jewett Benson to perform at Saturday Art Market in Alexandria

Their music will include love songs from the 1930s and 1940s, folk and light pop from the 1950s,1960s and 1970s.

ALEXANDRIA – Peggy Weise and Jewett Benson will perform at Saturday Art Market in Big Ole Central Park on July 16.

Weise and Benson have been performing together since 2014 at various venues, including the Evansville First Friday Concert, the Alexandria Senior Center Valentine Concert, a 2022 concert at Farwell Lutheran Church, the Palmer House in Sauk Center and the Sixth Avenue Wine Bar.

Their music will include love songs from the 1930s and 1940s, folk and light pop from the 1950s,1960s and 1970s.

The Alexandria Art Guild organizes the Saturday Art Market. Events will continue through Sept. 3 and take place Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
