ALEXANDRIA — LiveWire will perform at the Saturday Art Market in Alexandria on July 2.

Formed in 2016, the LiveWire band brings back classic rock and country favorites from the 1950s to present.

LiveWire performs music from artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash and the Eagles. Seasoned musicians Marcus Hinnenkamp, Bill Gillies and Jim Lunemann combine instruments and vocals to create a variety of harmonies.

Organized by the Alexandria Arts Guild, the Saturday Art Market is an opportunity for locals and visitors to gather at Big Ole Central Park on the north end of Broadway in Alexandria every Saturday all summer.

It’s a chance to visit with local artists and shop their offerings while enjoying food, kids’ activities, and different live music each week.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
