Friends of the Douglas County Fair, a newly created nonprofit in Douglas County, is seeking leaders to serve as 2021-2022 Board of Directors.
The purpose of this nonprofit is to preserve and enhance the agricultural and historical legacy of the Douglas County Fair as well as to promote and showcase the community’s agricultural traditions, talents, diversity and heritage.
An informational meeting will take place Thursday, June 10 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Glenwood State Bank, 2221 S. Broadway St. in Alexandria.
