About 300 students graduate from Alexandria Area High School

The commencement ceremony was held on Friday, June 3, 2022

Almost 300 students graduated from Alexandria Area High School at a ceremony at the high school gymnasium on Friday, June 3. The commencement ceremony started at 5:30 p.m. and was also available to watch through live streaming in the school’s Performing Arts Center or online through the school’s website.

Student speakers included Morgan Wittkowski and Sidney Johnson. Music was provided by the AAHS Concert Choir and Olivia Brault, Anna Melby, Isaac Baldry, Grace Hedstrom, Ilana Jensen, Matt Wieberdink and Brady Burss. Eric Hartmann gave the commencement address.

After the ceremony, students made their way to Discovery Middle School, where they began a car procession to the Runestone Community Center for their senior graduation party.
