Sealed bids for the Removing and Replacing Steel Siding to the Bellanca Building at the Alexandria Airport will be received by the Alexandria City Council, at the Alexandria Airport Arrival/Departure Building, 2604 Aga Drive, until 11:00 am on May 3, 2021.
Overview:
The building is half composed of white colored concrete exterior walls. The other half is blue colored steel siding. This bid is for removing the existing blue colored siding and replacing it with new blue steel siding. All siding will be secured into the existing structure unless repairs are necessary to complete the task.

Tasks:
•Remove existing steel siding
•Install new steel siding – blue in color to match other hangars at airport
Notes:
•This bid should include all supplies, labor, and any other expenses.
•This bid only includes siding that begins at ground level. Any steel siding as seen on the roof should be left as is.
•Any signs that need to be removed for new steels should be re-hung at the completion of the
project.
A field review of the building is required of all bidders prior to submitting a bid. Please contact Airport Manager, Kreg Anderson, at 320-760-7175 to schedule a walk-through. Additional details regarding the specific scope of work will be discussed at that time.
All bids will be reviewed by the Airport Manager who will make a recommendation of award to the City Council at their May 10, 2021 City Council meeting. All work is to be completed by June 30, 2021.
