Sealed bids for the upgrade of the Bathroom Renovations to the Bellanca Building at the Alexandria Airport will be received by the Alexandria City Council, at the Alexandria Airport Arrival/Departure Building, 2604 Aga Drive, until 11:00 am on May 3, 2021.
Overview:
A couple of the bathrooms within the building are in rough shape and in need of several improvements, as listed below. This bid is for a general contractor to supply all the services either on their own or sub-contracting it out.
Schedule:
•Approval from City Council to Solicit Bids: April 12, 2021
•Bid Due Date: May 3, 2021
•Approval from City Council to Award Bid: May 10, 2021
•Work Completed By: June 30, 2021
Tasks:
Men’s Bathroom
•Remove existing tile flooring
•Replace with new tile flooring appropriate for industrial bathroom setting
•Repair drywall
•Remove existing toilet partitions
•Install new toilet partitions and latching doors to toilets
•Install (2) exterior latching doors to bathroom
Women’s Bathroom
•Install new toilet partitions and latching doors to toilets
•Install (2) exterior latching doors to bathroom
Notes:
•This bid should include all supplies, labor, and any other expenses
A field review of the building is required of all bidders prior to submitting a bid. Please contact Airport Manager, Kreg Anderson, at 320-760-7175 to schedule a walk-through. Additional details regarding the specific scope of work will be discussed at that time.
All bids will be reviewed by the Airport Manager who will make a recommendation of award to the City Council at their May 10, 2021 City Council meeting. All work is to be completed by June 30, 2021.
