The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Alexandria School District, Alexandria, Minnesota, was called to order by School Board Chairperson Angie Krebs at 7:01 p.m. in the District Office Oak Conference Room, Alexandria, Minnesota.
School Board Members Present: Angie Krebs, Dave Anderson, Bob Cunniff, Pam Carlson, Alan Zeithamer and Dean Anderson and (ex-officio) Superintendent Rick Sansted.

DONATIONS AND GRANTSTo approve the submission of grant applications by Alexandria Public Schools to MDH/Horizon Public Health and United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties and to approve the resolution for the following donations and grants:
RESOLUTION FOR ALEXANDRIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO
ACCEPT DONATIONS AND GRANTS
WHEREAS, the Alexandria Public Schools Board encourages the support of the district's educational programs through the funding and support of grant opportunities and donations that meet the goals and objectives of the school district;
WHEREAS, the school district will control and maintain all grants and donations to ensure that the interests of all students are met;
WHEREAS, the grants and donations listed below have been reviewed and approved by the administration of the Alexandria Public Schools;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of the Alexandria Public Schools - No. 206, State of Minnesota, to accept the following grants and donations:
•Adult Basic Education and Community Education received a donation of $6,140.00 from the Alexandria Literacy Project to support students receiving ELL services.
• The AAHS Gymnastics program received a $2,500.00 donation from Zach Witt to support AAHS Gymnastics.
•The Wrestling Team received a $4,803.30 donation from the Alexandria Wrestling Booster Club to fund an assistant varsity wrestling coach.
•Alexandria Public Schools received a $6,874.00 donation of products from the 3M Gives Supplies for Schools program to support students in their daily learning.
EXTENDED FIELD TRIP
To approve the following extended field trip:
•The Nordic Ski Team is requesting permission to travel to Biwabik, MN in March of 2021 to participate in the State Tournament.

Motion by Zeithamer, seconded by Cunniff, to approve the 2021 summer school calendar and programming as presented.
