The Public Hearing regarding the Liquor License Applications for Crooked Willow Weddings & Events and Nordic Trails Golf Course was opened at 9:12 a.m.
There were no comments from the public.
The Public Hearing was closed at 9:14 a.m.
To approve the On-Sale & Sunday Liquor License for Crooked Willow Weddings & Events for their license period of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 with the condition that they provide proof of a food service license. Motion carried.
To approve the 3.2 Beer On-Sale & Off-Sale plus Sunday non-intoxicating liquor license for Nordic Trails Golf Course for an initial license period of May 4, 2021-June 30, 2021 and a renewed license period of July 1, 2021June 30, 2022 is pre-approved with the condition it also receives approval by the county attorney and sheriff. Motion carried.
To approve the Consumption & Display (Set-Up) Permit for Nordic Trails Golf Course for an initial license period of May 4, 2021 -March 31, 2022. Motion carried.
To adopt the Planning Advisory Commission's findings of facts and deny a Conditional Use Permit for Minnerath Investments LLC and Central Specialties Inc.: Application to Allow 39.9-Acre Aggregate Mining Operation. Motion carried.

To approve filling to fill a full time Social Worker and full time Eligibility Worker vacancies and any subsequent vacancies. Motion carried.
To approve to fill a vacated full-time position at the License Bureau (slot # 11006) with part time hours of not more than 30 hours per week, with the option of filling up to full time, depending on business needs. Motion carried.
To adopt Resolution 21-52 supporting the grant application for the 2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant. Motion Carried.
To award Bid: County Ditch 17 Drainage Project to Voss Plumbing and Heating of Paynesville, Inc. in the amount of $864,059.00 and to appoint Tom Anderson as the authorized agent for Douglas County on this project. Motion carried.
The County Board took a break from 9:35 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
To certify the Wildlife Management habitat easement the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services secured from Merlyn and Marilyn Growth. Motion carried.
To approve the Alexandria Technical College Off-Campus Work Study Agreement for 2021-2022 school year for the Library. Motion carried.
To approve filling to fill a full time Reference/Adult Services Librarian vacancy and any subsequent vacancies. Motion carried.
To accept the County Commissioner Reports including the results of the information gathering or liaison activities; confirming the matters before the board necessitates the committee activity; and such activities has been authorized by the full county board. This motion also authorizes payment of such per diem and travel reimbursement as that individual Commissioners is authorized for, for in performing such duties as requested by completion of the per diem/travel voucher submitted, as corrected. Motion carried.
To adopt Resolution 21-53 appointing Stacy Honkomp to remainder of Douglas County Assessor term June 1, 2021 through December 31, 2024. Motion carried.
