The regular meeting of the school board was called to order by Chairperson Becky Hensley. The following members were present: Becky Hensley, Michael Collins, Greg Faber, Genny LeBrun, Tom Grundman, Chris George, and Superintendent Randal Bergquist. Also in attendance were Brad Hoffarth, Shad Schmidt, Pat Kalpin, Celeste Edenloff, Jodi Stotesbery, Melanie Stier, Matt Hoelscher, Stan Moore, and Justin Dahlheimer.
It was moved by Grundman, seconded by Hensley, to approve the agenda. The motion carried unanimously.

•Tonia Hagedon and Bobbi Jo Haakinson have stepped up in the elementary and high school offices.

It was moved by Faber, seconded by Collins, to approve the following general consent items: the minutes of the April 13, 2020 regular meeting; the bills in the amount of $59,874.54 check numbers 65586 to 65620; revolving in the amount of $1,120.95 check numbers 11166 to 11170; hand payables in the amount of $101,316.12 check numbers 65562 to 65585; wire transfers in the amount of $608,282.88 and student activity fund in the amount of $3,720.56 check numbers 7195 to 7201. The board acknowledged receiving the treasurer’s report. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Faber, seconded by LeBrun, to approve the following personnel consent items: hiring of Erica Ronsberg, 0.57 FTE Elementary Music Teacher, at per Master Agreement amount of $25,176.33; Justin Dahlheimer, resuming role as Head Cross Country Coach beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by LeBrun to approve the following personnel consent items: Contract changes for the 2020-2021 school year for Bobbi Jo Haakinson – Increase from 0.57 to 1.0 FTE; Pat Stier – Increase from 0.86 to 1.0 FTE. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Grundman, seconded by Faber, to approve the following personnel consent items: retirement resignation of Connie Rasmusen, paraprofessional; resignation of Shad Schmidt, head baseball coach. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Faber, to approve the following personnel consent items: grant tenure for the following teachers: Elizabeth Dahlheimer, Calista Herzog, and Dylan Kohorst. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Collins, to approve the 2020-2021 Capital Expenditures presented, including technology, with the exception of the gym cooling. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Faber, to designate the Echo Press as Osakis Public School’s official paper. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Grundman, to approve grading flexibility as developed by administration. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Faber, seconded by Grundman, to approve the Acceptance of Gift Resolution. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Grundman, to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
