The regular meeting of the school board was called to order by Chairperson Becky Hensley. The following members were present: Michael Collins, Justin Dahlheimer, Becky Hensley, Genny LeBrun, Amy Weisser, Greg Faber and Superintendent Randal Bergquist. Also in attendance were Brad Hoffarth, Shad Schmidt, Celeste Edenloff, Melanie Stier, Jason Schultz and Jason Bock.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Faber, to approve the agenda, with additions. The motion carried unanimously.

• There has been an outpouring of support from the community for the loss of Kyle Imdieke.
• The coverage of the students who are joining the National Guard was nice.
• Prom is on Saturday.

It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by LeBrun, to approve the following general consent items: the minutes of the April 12, 2021, regular meeting; the bills in the amount of $97,244.32 check numbers 66793-66834; hand payables in the amount of $108,703.47 check numbers 66724-66792; wire transfers in the amount of $645,809.15, the Revolving Fund in the amount of $479.79 check numbers 1123211235 and the student activity account fund in the amount of $2,768.12 check numbers 7364-7379. The board acknowledged receiving the treasurer's report. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Faber, to approve the following personnel consent items: approve the following leave of absence for Sara Anderson, Kindergarten teacher; approve the hiring of the following positions: Kathy Arens, long term substitute teacher at $231.27 per day; Michelle Trisco, Summer Rec Coordinator Assistant at $1,250; Madison Johansen, Summer Rec Coordinator Assistant at $1,250. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Dahlheimer, to hire Brian Silbernick to fill in for Kyle Imdieke for the rest of year. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Faber, to approve the Memorandum of Understanding between ISD #213, Osakis Education Association and Pat Kalpin. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Weisser, seconded by LeBrun, to approve the A'viands contract for the 2021-2022 school year. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Faber, seconded by Dalheimer, to approve the resignation of Judy Brillhart effective June 2, 2021. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Dahlheimer, to table approving Randall Resley's medical leave of absence from June 4, 2021 to September 9, 2021. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by LeBrun, to approve the use of the Osakis Football field for the Osakis Sportsmen's Club on September 11, 2021.
It was moved by Weisser, seconded by Faber, to consider adopting a resolution to rescind Model Policy 808. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by LeBrun, to move the school to end for Seniors on May 25, 2021 and Pre K - 11th grades May 28, 2021. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by LeBrun, to extend the Athletic Trainer contract by 5 years. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Faber, seconded by Dahlhiemer, to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
