NOTICE OF CALL FOR PUBLIC INPUT ON THE POTENTIAL FOR THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA TO ALLOW A DEER HUNT IN
THE CITY LIMITS
The Alexandria City Council will conduct a public input session at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021, in the Alexandria City Hall Council Chambers located at 704 Broadway. There are two objectives for this information session. The first is to gather information from the public on the nature and impact of deer within the city limits. The second is to hear comments on the possibility of allowing deer hunting within the city limits under carefully considered conditions. The City Council believes it is important to hear from the community before taking any action on this matter. Information on how municipal deer hunts are conducted in other Minnesota cities can be found on the City’s website, www.alexandriamn.city.
