SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

The special meeting of the school board was called to order by Chairperson Becky Hensley. The following members were present either in person or online: Michael Collins, Justin Dahlheimer, Greg Faber, Becky Hensley, Genny LeBrun, Amy Weisser, and Superintendent Randal Bergquist.
The purpose of the special meeting was for personnel matters and potential land purchase.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by LeBrun, to approve the agenda. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by Collins, to hire Courtney Gerads as 1st Grade Teacher at per Master Agreement amount of $42,091. The motion carried unanimously.
Hiring the 6th Grade Teacher was tabled.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by LeBrun, to hire Breann Adolphsen as 5th Grade Teacher at Per Master Agreement amount of $42,091. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Dahlheimer, to approve Courtney Gerads to be hired as an extra Junior High Track & Field Coach at $950 for the 2021 season with OEA approval. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Dahlheimer, to approve the Resolution Abolishing the Joint Powers of the Summer Rec Program and hire summer rec help. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Dahlheimer, to give the committee approval to continue with land purchase using parameters discussed at board meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by Collins, to close the public meeting at 7:34 a.m., pursuant to Minn. Stat. 13D.05, for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by Collins, to open the public meeting at 7:54 a.m. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Dahlheimer, seconded by Collins, to accept the early retirement agreements. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Collins, seconded by Dahlheimer, to post to hire an additional Special Education Teacher. The motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by LeBrun, seconded by Dahlheimer, to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
