The Board of Commissioners in and for the County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, met in Emergency Special Session this 31st day of March 2020. The full text is available for public inspection at the County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office.
To approve the agenda. Motion carried.
To table the Douglas County Telecommunication Policy. Motion failed, lack of a second.
To approve the revised Douglas County Telecommunication Policy (removing “A denial of the request at any stage of the review process will be final, with no further review”) that can be revised in the future. Motion carried.
To enact and comply with all aspects of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act excluding those positions listed as Emergency Responders and Health Care and Public Health from these benefits because there needs to be sufficient personnel available in an emergency. Motion carried.
To table the proposed Sick Leave Advance Policy until the April 7th Board Meeting. Motion carried.
By consensus, the Board adjourned the meeting at 3:17 p.m.
