To approve a business relief grant for JG Haircare LLC dba Fantastic Sams, Alexandria in the amount of $15,000 and to approve the revised transfer of funds as approved on February 16, 2021 to utilize $265,707.80 of 2019 excess fund balance for the business relief grants and transfer the remaining 2019 excess fund balance from the general fund in the amount of $65,841.20 to capital projects for existing or future projects. Motion carried.
To assign Commissioner Larson to the Early Childhood Initiative and make those meetings per diem eligible. Motion carried.
To accept the County Commissioner Reports including the results of the information gathering or liaison activities; confirming the matters before the board necessitates the committee activity; and such activities has been authorized by the full county board. This motion also authorizes payment of such per diem and travel reimbursement as that individual Commissioners is authorized for, for in performing such duties as requested by completion of the per diem/travel voucher submitted. Motion carried.
To set the Joint City County Special Meeting date for 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at City Hall. Motion carried.
To approve promoting Jill Frisell from Assistant Auditor/Treasurer/Finance Director to the Finance Director (Department Head), effective 2/27/2021. Motion carried.
