Public Hearing Publish November 4, 2022 Notice of Public Hearing Pursuant to Section 10.23 of the Alexandria City Code, the Alexandria Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 7:10 pm in the Alexandria City Hall to consider the Conditional Use Permit of Alexandria Housing II, LLP (D.W. Jones). The applicant is requesting an amendment to the existing conditional use permit to allow the construction of a new three story apartment building consisting of a mix of studio, one, and two bedroom units. The building will include 18 attached heated garage stalls, 16 detached garages, and 94 surface parking stalls. This amendment would replace the previously approved second building on the site. The property is located in an R-3 “Medium Density Residential” zoning district at 2008 Runestone Avenue and is legally described as: “Central Lakes, Lot 1, Blk 1, AC 3.78, Section 21, Township 128, Range 37, Douglas County, Minnesota”. Notice of this hearing has been mailed to all property owners of record within 350 feet of the property in question. The public is invited to attend this hearing.
