Pursuant to Sections 10.20 and 10.21 of the Alexandria City Code, the Alexandria Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on September 20, 2021 at 7:10 pm in the Alexandria City Hall to consider the Planned Unit Development application of Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge. The applicant is requesting a Planned Unit Development to allow the construction of a faith-based dependency treatment center to include 44 long-term and 30 short-term clients for a total of 74 residents. There will be up to 15 outpatient clients on site at any time as well. There will be approximately 30 staff with an on-site kitchen, half gym and chapel. The property is located at 525 Willow Drive and is legally described as: "SUB A & W 665 FT OF SUBS B & C OF GOVT LOT 1 EXC 1 AC OF LOT C, and .18 AC OF SUB B OF PART OF GOVT LOT 1 & TRACT 5 RDS BY 2 RDS OF SUBS B & C, and.57 AC OF LOT C SOUTH FRACTIONAL PART OF LOT 1 SECTION 24 TWP 128 RANG 38 & PT OF G.LOT 1., and SUB E & SUBS B & C EXC W 665 FT OF LOT 1 OF S LINE OF SUB 1 EXC .5 AC EXC .13 AC EXC .10 AC, Alexandria City, Section-Twp-Range: 24-128-38". Additional land presently located in LaGrand Township may be included in the development.
