Notice of Public Hearing Pursuant to Section 11.01 of the Alexandria City Code, the Alexandria Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:10 pm in the Alexandria City Hall to consider the Exception to Platting (“split”) application for Justin Jelen. The applicant is requesting to allow a one-time split to his existing 0.78-acre parcel. The applicant would retain 0.60 acres and sell the remaining 0.18 acres to his neighbor. The property is located at 1709 State Hwy 29 N in an R-1 “Single Family Residential” zoning district. The property is legally described as: “Plot 132’ x 165’ of SE4SE4 (Lying 132’ SW’ly of NW Cor of Junction of Lisa Ave & Service Dr) & .28 AC of SE4SE4 (Lying S of Lot 5, Blk 3 Woodland Park), AC .78, Section 08, Township 128, Range 37, Douglas County, Minnesota”. Notice of this hearing has been mailed to all property owners of record within 350 feet of the property in question. The public is invited to attend this hearing.
