Notice of Public Hearing Pursuant to Section 10.23 of the Alexandria City Code, the Alexandria Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:00 pm in the Alexandria City Hall to consider the Conditional Use Permit of Black & Veatch. The applicant is requesting to allow the installation of six (6) Level 3 EV charging stations within the Menards parking lot. The proposal includes the installation of supporting electrical infrastructure, including a new utility transformer, switchboard, power units, and light pole. This improvement would result in a net loss of five (5) parking stalls. The property is located at 215 50th Ave W in a B-1 “General Business” zoning district. The property is legally described as: “Lot 6, Blk 1, ‘Then’s Fourth Addition’ & The W 40.20’ of Lot 7, Blk 1, Section 31, Township 128, Range 37, Douglas County, Minnesota”. Notice of this hearing has been mailed to all property owners of record within 350 feet of the property in question. The public is invited to attend this hearing.
