Douglas County, MN Notice to Contractors County Projects CLOSING DATE March 15, 2022 Notice is hereby given that SEALED BIDS will be received by the Board of County Commissioners at the Douglas County Auditor/Treasurer Office at the Douglas County Administration Building, 821 Cedar St, Alexandria, Minnesota, 56308, until 1:00 pm, March 15, 2023 for full depth reclamation, bituminous milling, ADA improvements, concrete curb & gutter, bituminous surfacing and aggregate shouldering on SAP 021-603-037 (CSAH 3), etc. Major Items: Aggregate Surfacing, Class 1 – 2,928 Tons Aggregate Base, Class 5 – 19,358 Tons Full Depth Reclamation – 32,721 Square Yards Mill Bituminous Surface – 30,111 Square Yards Plant-Mixed Bituminous – 35,279 Tons Concrete Curb and Gutter - 3,412 Linear Feet Concrete Walk – 15,384 Square Feet Traffic Control – 5 Lump Sum Linear Markings, 4” White Paint – 4,597 Linear Feet Linear Markings, 4” Yellow Multi Comp (Gr. In) – 19,864 Linear Feet Linear Markings, 6” White Multi Comp, (Gr. In) – 65,477 Linear Feet Pavement Messages, Preformed Thermoplastic(Gr. In) – 253 Square Feet Plans Proposals and Specifications may be examined and obtained at Douglas County Public Works located at 526 Willow Drive, P.O. Box 398, Alexandria, Minnesota, 56308. Requests for Plans, Proposals and Specifications must be accompanied by a Check, Draft or Money Order made payable to Douglas County. The price is $50.00 per set which includes Sales Tax. Plans and Specifications are also available at no cost on Douglas County’s web site: https://mn-co-douglas.app.rtvision.com/ Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder’s Bond or a Certified Check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid made payable to Douglas County. Bids must be sealed and shall be clearly marked “SAP 021-603-037”. Douglas County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof.
