Ad for Bids Publish June 10, 17, 2022 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS I-94/TH 27 FORCEMAIN REALIGNMENT ALEXANDRIA LAKE AREA SANITARY DISTRICT (ALASD) Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the ALASD, at the offices of ALASD, 2201 Nevada Street SW, Alexandria, Minnesota 56308, until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at which time all Bids will be opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all materials, skill, labor, and all else necessary for the I-94/TH 27 Forcemain Realignment project in Alexandria, MN. Major items include the following approximate quantities: 2,000 LF Sanitary Sewer Forcemain (Directional Bore) 100 LF Sanitary Sewer Forcemain (Open Trench) 2 EA Air Release Manhole 315 SY Bituminous Surface Restoration Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bidder’s bond acceptable to the ALASD in an amount of at least five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the ALASD. If the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract or to give bond as required by law within the specified number of days after the award of the contract; certified check or bidder’s bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
