ALEXANDRIA — The Douglas County Library featured a Minneapolis storyteller and a traditional Chinese flutist during a COMPAS teaching event on Friday, Oct. 21.
The library hosted the Chunky Pumpkin Painting event on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Margaret Standafer's book "I Know an Old Lady" was the topic of discussion at a "meet the author" event hosted by the Douglas County Library as it touches on dementia, the Friends of the Library's theme for this year's Community Read.
