Disney's "Frozen Jr.," based on the 2018 Broadway musical, is hitting the stage at the Andria Theatre in Alexandria.

The play features songs from the animated film and the story of Elsa, Anna and the magic land of Arendelle. The theater describes the play this way:

When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, Anna teams up with Kristoff and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa, and break her icy spell. Their journey leads to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman, harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, yet Anna and Kristoff push on in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip.

The cast includes Mya Santelman as Anna, Taylor Yeats as Elsa and Isaac Kent as Kristoff, along with dozens of other actors from the ages of 10-18.

"Frozen Jr." is being performed at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday through Saturday, March 5-7 and 12-14. In addition, two Sunday matinee performances are scheduled, at 2 p.m. on March 8 and 15.
