The Evansville Art Center presents its 1st Friday Concert on Friday, Nov. 1. The show will feature Greg Lehrke, Terry Kennedy and Arlyn Swenson.
Performances take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Art Center, 111 Main St., Evansville.
Lehrke amazes audiences with his concertina whenever he plays. He enjoys playing for care centers, senior centers and the local Jingle Bells telethon. For Friday’s show, he has invited Kennedy and Swenson to share the stage with him.
Kennedy has been a part of many local bands for more than 40 years. He is a songwriter and accomplished luthier. Kennedy was among the group of musicians who started the 3rd Thursday Open Mic nights at the art center.
Swenson has been playing music for nearly six decades, starting with drums then branching into guitar and other strings. He is currently the accidental bass player with local groups Cimarron and Finestra.
