The American Red Cross says it hopes the freebie will persuade healthy donors to come in during a time of year that typically sees donors stay away because of the weather or illness.
Red Cross blood drives take the following precautions: temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings for donors and staff.
To donate, make an appointment through the Red Cross Blood Donor App, RedCrossBlood.org or 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
