The Echo Press’ annual Light up the Night contest, which is sponsored by Ace Hardware , is up and running, and this is the last week to enter your photos.

This year’s contest is all online. Residents and business owners can submit photos by going to echopress2.secondstreetapp.com/lightupthenight .

Photos can be entered in one of three different categories - Best Business Display, Most Fun Display or Most Beautiful Display. Make sure to choose the right category. Submissions are being accepted through Sunday, Dec. 6.

When submitting a photo, people are asked to include their address in the caption field so that the public will know where to go if they want to check out the holiday displays.

Once the submission period has ended, the public will get a chance to vote for their favorite in each category to determine the winner. The voting period will run from Monday, Dec. 7, through Sunday, Dec. 13. People can vote once per day.
