The Lakes Area Humane Society will sell baked and handcrafted goods at the Alexandria’s Farmers Market on Saturday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to noon.
This fundraiser will include baked goods typically offered at the nonprofit's annual year-end bake sale, plus many other handcrafted items.
Those who wish to donate baked goods can either drop them off at the shelter noon-5 p.m. Friday, June 4, or 8-9 a.m. the day of the sale. All types of baked items will be accepted.
To donate non-perishable handcrafted items such as soaps, jams/jellies, candles, jewelry, plants, birdhouses or any other creative items, drop them off at the shelter during normal business hours any day prior to the sale.
