For 41 years, the Alexandria Figure Skating Club held a Spring Ice Review.

Until COVID-19 hit and last year's show was canceled.

But last weekend, April 10-11, the skaters and the spring show were back. Skaters of all ages and levels took to the ice of the Runestone Community Center to showcase the skills they've honed over the last few months at competitions and practices.

And those who attended the three performances loved it, giving the skaters a big hand when they landed a jump or finished a spin. There were group routines and solo numbers, and the RCC set was lit up with lights, a curtain and sparkling costumes.

The spring show was entitled "Peace Love Skate."
