Even dogs seemed to be having a good time in Garfield Saturday as the town celebrated Garfield Days.

There are still some events remaining for today, Saturday, Aug. 10. A bean bag tournament starts at 5 p.m. and a street dance featuring Runestone Rebellion will take place from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Festivities began Friday with quilt bingo and a silent auction, and continued with fire department wars, a street dance and cowpie bingo. Saturday started with a pancake feed, followed by a rib cook off, grand parade with nearly 40 units, a pie and ice cream social at St. Luke’s Church, entertainment and many activities in City Park, including a pork chop feed, beer garden, bingo, kiddie carnival and Mark the Chainsaw Man.
