The COVID-19 pandemic has forced people to make changes to everyday life, and Christmas is no exception. On Saturday afternoon, the Vikingland Community Support Program held a drive-thru Santa event for children of Douglas County.

Along with a socially distanced photo from Art Bar 39, kids met Mr. and Mrs. Claus while dropping off their letters filled with Christmas wishes. Carolers sang holiday tunes and provided candy to attendees.
