Dozens stomp out the stigma at annual Mental Health Walk in Alexandria

The walk took place Friday, May 21 along Broadway Street.

The sun was shining for the annual Mental Health Walk Friday, May 21, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.

Dozens participated in the event, walking along Broadway Street in Alexandria. Walkers started at the Vikingland Community Support Program office at 1106 Broadway and ended in front of the Alexandria City Hall, 704 Broadway.

The event, targeted to help "Stomp out the Stigma," was sponsored by the Douglas County Local Advisory Council and Vikingland CSP.
