Douglas County 4-H holds Brandon daycamp

Douglas County 4-H held a daycamp at Brandon School on Wednesday, July 23. The theme of this camp was machines.
Campers exercised their brain with six simple machines. They explored the world of machines through Legos, junk boats and Rube Goldberg Machines.
The next 4-H daycamp will be Friday, August 15 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Alexandria.
Daycamps are from at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth are asked to bring a lunch for noon meal to all camps. All youth who have completed kindergarten through fourth grade are welcome.
Registration is $7 per person for each daycamp. Youth should register one week prior to camp.
