Brad Lake, Jennifer Maloney to sing at Alexandria Elks Lodge

Retired Douglas County Chief deputy, Brad Lake, will be coming out of retirement from his musical career to perform alongside local entertainer Jennifer Maloney for a two-hour music event at the Alexandria Elks Lodge called “Happy days are here again” on Sunday, June 27.

Brad Lake and Jennifer Maloney are no strangers to performing together. Once called the “Road Show,” the duo generated a vast following while performing together until Lake’s increasing duties with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office forced him to put his musical career on hold.

Since Lake is now retired from the sheriff’s office, Maloney reached out to him to see if he was willing to give music another go.

“During the process of developing the program,” said Maloney, “I kept remembering that there were so many great duets that Brad and I did together in the past, wouldn’t it be great if he would consider getting back together and being a big part of it all.”

After their first scheduled show on June 13 sold out, they decided to add a second show on June 27 due to popular demand.

Food will be available to purchase during the show, and the proceeds from the food sales donated to local veterans.

The doors to the lodge will open at 4 p.m., and showtime starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are currently available at the Elks Lodge , with limited seating, for $10 and reserved Lodge seating for $15. Call (320) 763-5670 to get your ticket.
