Boat parade on Lake Carlos makes a splash on the Fourth

Sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s make for a great day on the water.

Despite the wind, the water was calm on Lake Carlos near the Carlos/Darling bridge where a multitude of boats paraded to passersby. Some boats were decked out in Fourth of July decorations with red, white and blue balloons, while others simply displayed the American flag.

Tonight, Sunday, July 4, the sky will be bright with fireworks from one of the largest firework show in the area. Star Storm is set to take place over Lake Darling starting around 10 p.m.
